The Project Goals

This is just a quick one outlining all the routes that I would like to add into this project. The routes already in the project are the original Bristol to Exeter, Bristol to Bath Green Park & Bath Spa and the Portishead Branch. Once these routes are completed the following routes maybe added:

  • The Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway - Unless I can merge the two routes together
  • Bristol to Frome including the Camerton Branch
  • Bournemouth to Templecombe Lower Level
  • Burnham-on-Sea to Evercreech Junction - Including Wells Branch line
  • Bath Spa to Swindon - Possibly including Swindon Works
  • Swindon to Gloucester - Including the Cirencester and Tetbury Branches
  • Bristol to Gloucester via Bristol Parkway & Mangotsfield
  • Frome to Taunton
  • Yatton to Frome via Wells and West Shepton - Including Clevedon Branch
This is a large amount of routes and may not be built into the project.

  1. there already is a burnham-on-sea to evercreech added onto S&D named along the levels to burnham on sea on the steam workshop so you only need to merge that instead of merging the bath to templecombe section and then building the section from evercreech junction to burnham on sea you are welcome if this helps

  2. I knew there had been a route created for that line but couldn't remember what it was called it is a great route ideal for small passenger and freight traffic.
But it is a lot harder to merge two routes together than it seems as they both have to have the same route origin and the Track, road , Terrain Tiles etc need to be adjusted. As they are not of the dame origin I can't tell which files I need and I can't just copy and past one into the other as it wipes the files there and you just get the route that you copied in.
The only known case of the route merging working is the south London lines with London to Brighton and the line to Bedford as these all had the same origin and used the same assets.
if you search South London and Thameslink in the steam workshop it will show up
